OpenSesame Qualified Practice Test

The role of the Epic Champion is central to the process of translating product requirements into detailed engineering requirements within the Engineering team. An Epic Champion typically acts as a liaison between the broader product vision and the technical specifics that engineers need to execute their work effectively. They ensure that the high-level product goals and user needs are clearly communicated and understood by the engineering team, often focusing on breaking down complex features into manageable parts and defining the necessary criteria for successful implementation.

This position is crucial as it allows the engineering team to maintain alignment with the product strategy while ensuring that technical feasibility and requirements are adequately addressed. The Epic Champion often collaborates closely with other roles in the team, including Product Managers, but their primary focus is on the engineering aspects of feature implementation. This makes them uniquely qualified to ensure that the final engineering outputs meet the intended product requirements.
